The five-star hotels of La Croisette and their private-chauffeur access codes. Carlton, Martinez, Majestic Barrière, JW Marriott, Five Seas — full guide.
La Croisette: a 2.8 km red carpet
Boulevard de la Croisette concentrates nearly all of Cannes' palaces — a single axis, very precise access codes for each establishment, and a car protocol that a private chauffeur knows by heart. In season, and especially during the Festival, access is regulated. Booking a private sedan lets you bypass roadblocks and step out directly at the entrance.
Carlton Cannes
The Carlton (58 Boulevard de la Croisette) is the institution. Following its Tristan Auer renovation in 2023, the Belle Époque palace unveiled two new wings, a cabana-lined pool and an extended private beach. Our chauffeur knows the main entrance as well as the suite-side access on rue d'Antibes for discreet arrivals.
Hotel Martinez Cannes (Hyatt)
The emblematic Art Déco at 73 Boulevard de la Croisette — two-Michelin-star restaurant La Palme d'Or by Christian Sinicropi, and a 1000 m² penthouse suite among Europe's most expensive. The valet area sits to the right of the main entrance; an experienced chauffeur avoids the slowdown caused by tour buses.
Majestic Barrière Cannes
Facing the Palais des Festivals (10 Boulevard de la Croisette), the Majestic Barrière offers the most strategic access during the Cannes Film Festival. Fouquet's restaurant, private beach, and bungalow suites with private pools. Our S-Class is regularly used for protocol drop-offs.
JW Marriott Cannes
50 Boulevard de la Croisette, freshly renovated, features an exceptional rooftop pool and La Plage restaurant. It is one of the Croisette palaces with the widest valet area — practical for wedding motorcades or private evening arrivals.
Five Seas Hotel & Hôtel Belle Plage
For those seeking a more boutique, contemporary alternative, Five Seas Hotel (rue Notre-Dame) offers 45 rooms and a rooftop. Hôtel Belle Plage Pure (rue Latour-Maubourg), taken over by Sylvestre Wahid, plays the intimate-luxury card. Our chauffeurs drop guests off without difficulty — narrow-street access, ideal in E-Class rather than V-Class.
